Book Association: Life of Pi - Part 3

February's book Life of Pi has ready sparked some discussions on the CWAtC forums. The last two weeks we covered animals and nautical themes. This week is going to be about books that take place in India. Did any of your guesses make the list?

Midnight's Children - Saleem Sinai's life is mirrored and magnified in events that sway the course of national affairs; his health and well-being are inextricably bound to those of his nation; his life is inseparable, at times indistinguishable, from the history of his country. 

The White Tiger - A first person confession of a murderer set in a raw India.
